Cold War

Going by the popular belief, two great stars should be friends. But that is not true with Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.Amongst the biggest celebrities of Indian Film Industry, these two have been in a cold war for eternity. In recent past,Aamir Khan wrote on his blog, "Shah Rukh is licking my feet and I am feeding him biscuits every now and then. What more can I ask for? Now,before you jump to any conclusions, let me add that Shah Rukh is my dog's name".In retalation came King Khan's reply, "Aamir has ost two of his fans as both my children loved him as an actor".

There were attempts to seek peace, when a humble Aamir apologized at an event. However,Aamir's statement, "I haven't apologized to Shah Rukh. But yes, I have apologized to his children", did not appease much to an offended Shah Rukh.Apparently, the two biggies of Bollywood have been keeting it low and do not display any annoyance in public.

Do you know about the Assamese cinema??

India is a place where we can find different types of masala movies... There are more unknown language movies which yet to be popular.
Assamese cinema!!! Guess What?  Assamese cinema is cinema
in the Assamese language, watched in assam India.
Assam industry was born in 1935 when jyoti prasad agarwala released his movie joymoti. Since then Assamese cinema has developed a slow placed, sensitive style, especially with movies like bhabendra, nath saikia and jhanu barua
However, despite its long history and it's artistic success, for a state that has always taken cinema seriously
Assamese cinema has never really managed to break through on the national scene despite the flim industry making a mark in national awards over years
The beginning of 21st century has seen bollywood style Assamese movies
The industry has not been able to compete in the market, significantly overshadowed by the larger industries such as bollywood

Controversy's child in controversy again!!!

Controversy's child, Silambarasan, in controversy again. Well this time to our surprise, not with a girl but with Anirudh, the music director. Recently, the beep song has caught attention in the media and has been the talk of the tow for a while. To be precise, he along with Anirudh composed a song offending women that had a few cuss words which were beeped and the was leaked in YouTube unofficially. The All India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA) has filed a case against Silambarasan and Anirudh for their beep song. Simbu on his favour says that, it wasn't released officially and isn't going to be filmed later on. Moreover, this was composed two years ago. He also mentioned that the song was sent only to his close circle which has been leaked. So, he says that it was unintentional. On the other hand Anirudh bailed out saying he wasn't the music composer. But T.R. Rajendar (Simbu's father) on YouTube has mentioned Anirudh's name also. Simbu is also denying the indulgence of Anirudh. However, the controversy hasn't come to a conclusion and the reason is still hidden. Don't know if this was unintentional or just another publicity stunt.
Check out Illayaraja (music director)  fighting with a reporter for questioning him on this when Illayaraja had gone to Ethiraj college for flood relief talk and also check out this link for some funny memes on this controversy:

Piku

Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in Piku

Piku turns out to be the favorite movie of the year!!

A warm, charming and bittersweet family drama, Piku turns the genre completely on its head. The result is a magnificently original film that delivers a memorably unique movie experience.Coming from the man who crafted Vicky Donor, a quaint drama around the adventures of a sperm donor, and got away with it, this comedy about constipation is par for the course.

Piku is the story of a cranky old Bengali widower Bhaskor Banerji (Amitabh Bachchan) who subjugates his paternal instincts to the health, or the lack of it, of his alimentary canal.
The more trouble that the crotchety gentleman has clearing his bowels, the more difficult he becomes for everyone around him.

There is a road trip, there are arguments, there is affection, and all of that. This review is, besides applause, merely a celebration of detail and of craft. Irfan khan has also given his best in this movie. Irfan Khan is characteristically flawless. Despite a less author-backed role than father and daughter, he imbues his character with enough authenticity to steal many a scene and give the narrative its consistency.

"sometimes the joy indeed lies in trying out something new, and Piku is just the tonic!!".. Piku is an absolute must watch movie!...
