However,despite its long history and it's artistic success, for a state that has always taken cinema seriously
Assamese cinema has never really managed to break through on the national scene despite the flim industry making a mark in national awards over years
The beginning of 21st century has seen bollywood style Assamese movies
The industry has not been able to compete in the market, significantly overshadowed by the larger industries such as bollywood

Wow. Great piece of information. :) Something that we weren't aware of at all. Not even in on a certain level that i knew something like this. Good work. Will probably catch up an assamese film tonight although i won't understand the language :P
